Cleghorn Paws has begun a careful, thought out plan of our breeding program for this year. We have some of our own Chocolate & Lilac carriers to work with, & we have invested into more outstanding lines to implement into our program this summer. Sgt. Pepper, a CPC Chocolate, will begin to breed later in the summer. Miss. Orianthi, a CPC (Hot) Lilac Cream, too will hopefully deliver babies before Christmas, or shortly after.

We are adding changes to enhance the displaying of Kittens 4 Sale with video input, along with pictures to view. Please understand, that we have decided "NOT" to send extra pictures without a deposit this year, simply because of those that 'right click' , & take what is not there's to take, henceforth using our kittens for their financial gain. Because of others dishonesty, we are taking measures to protect your purchase, & so that others are not deceived into a sale that doesn't exist by the one who has stolen our kitten pictures.

Once a kitten is purchased we either e-mail their pictures to you to download for your Memoir's, or we will gladly make a CD for your keeping or send with your packet. Our phone number is not placed on our site. We prefer e-mails since our hands are either birthing babies, bathing & grooming our cats, or preparing the travel of one to a new home w/paperwork, vet care, & product purchases. However, when a sale is positive, we do release our number through calling you, getting to know the home, or cattery where our babies go to.

NOTE: The FIRST deposit received on ANY kitten is the deposit that reserves the kitten-- NO EXCEPTIONS! SALES are LOST when there are those that think we can do different. Those that have abused a sale in 'good faith' unfortunately make it harder for the ones who wouldn't.

SOLD "ELTON JOHN" doesn't get any sweeter than this. Such a sweetheart, but just like a man, loves to eat. This boy would be an asset to any serious breeders program, especially one of the rare colors. He is a CPC, meaning a Color Pt. Carrier. You will get Himi's & Persians with Elton John, when using him in your breeding program. Using him as a carrier of the Chocolate & Lilac colors, to a visual of the same, you will see the Lynx patterns come with some of your kittens. I love the Tabby's too. They tend to be so laid back without a care to consider.

All Pick-Ups will still be charged the Handling Fee that helps us provide a NICE KIT for your kittens transition, along with all time & expenses with paperwork.
NOTE: To give understanding to those looking for a nice family member, & to our buyers, our prices have gone up in Veterinarian costs, their special diet, & grooming care for their health, along with shipping. We absorb the expenses of showing our breeders in CFA, to maintain the breeds standards, thus providing kittens from Cleghorn Paws into your home, or Cattery, that has met the standards set to the Himalayan-Persian breed.

Once again the hallways, kitchen, and the bathroom will be a play ground for the PAW prints of our NEW ARRIVALS. We at Cleghorn Paws want buyers to understand the differences between the different classes so you can better understand our price range. We are a small Cattery working with top bloodlines,and rare color genes, and above all health is our priority. We produce a few litters a year only breeding to better our bloodline and the breed as a whole. If you would like a kitten from Cleghorn Paws you may have to wait a short time, we feel waiting for one of our precious babies is worth the wait. PET QUALITY: Kitten prices range from $400 - 600.00. All pets will be required to be spay/neutered before a blue slip is released, along with a signed contract. Should you desire a show quality kitten for a pet,you will have to pay the price of the quality you purchase. BREEDER QUALITY $800+ Our definition of a breeder is one that has some good qualities and lines that when put with a good quality male or female should produce better quality kittens. BREEDER/SHOW QUALITY $1,000+ These cats meet the CFA standard for the breed, and should receive a Championship status. They may even go on to Grand Championship, depending on their maturity, grooming, and proper maintenance. SHOW QUALITY $1,500-2,500 These cats in our opinion could receive a Grand Championship. Depending on maturity, grooming, and proper maintenance. We feel these are our best kittens that can go to showing homes and breeding programs. "Non-refundable" deposits are required to hold a kitten. For our pet quality , 1/2 of the purchase value, any other kitten is a $500.00 non-refundable deposit. Deposits are deducted from the balance. CHOCOLATE AND LILAC FACTORED Due to how difficult these cats are to produce, and the amount of time & expense that is involved, these colors are more rare. They are usually priced higher in each class. A great effort is made to insure the placement of these kittens into the proper breeding and show homes. GENERAL INFO No breeder can guarantee just how far a cat will be able to go in the show ring. We form an opinion of our breeding cats by comparing the standard of the breed. But no one can predict what a kitten will look like when it's grown. There are factors beyond our control such as maturity, grooming, and proper maintenance, and give an educated judgment of our cats development. Our kittens are between 3 to 5 months depending on their type before they are released to their new owners. Our kittens have their vaccinations and are health guaranteed. All shipping cost is the expense of the new owner.
